Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rawa AI Limited ("Rawa", "we", "us", or "our") content intelligence platform and website located at https://rawa.ai (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. User Responsibility for Content

Users acknowledge that content generated through the Service is their sole responsibility. Rawa functions as a tool for content generation and intelligence. Users bear full responsibility for any legal, ethical, or cultural consequences that arise from the content they create, including but not limited to:

  • Violations of local, national, or international laws
  • Copyright infringement or misuse of third-party intellectual property
  • Breach of privacy or violations of personal rights
  • Violations of cultural and religious sensitivities

3. Prohibited Content

You agree not to use the Service to generate content that:

  • Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or depicts nudity
  • Promotes violence, terrorism, or hate speech
  • Engages in defamation, slander, or impersonation
  • Contains politically charged symbols or figures that could incite unrest
  • Discriminates based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or other protected classes
  • Violates intellectual property rights or privacy laws
  • Contains malware or harmful code
  • Promotes self-harm or dangerous substances
  • Is misleading or fraudulent

4. Content Moderation and Filtering

We employ automated filters to block inappropriate content and banned terms. However, these filters may not be 100% effective. You remain responsible for all content generated under your account, even if it passes automated filtering. We reserve the right to monitor and remove any content that violates these Terms.

5. Use of Service

You may use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the proper functioning of the Service
  • Use any automated means to access the Service without prior written permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service
  • Use the Service to compete with or replicate our platform's core functionality

6. Account Terms

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Rawa cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Rawa AI Limited and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you create using the Service, provided you comply with these Terms. By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, reproduce, and distribute the content for:

  • Marketing and promotion of the Service
  • Product development and platform improvement
  • Research and analysis purposes

8. AI Data Usage

Given the central role of AI in the Rawa platform, the following protections apply:

  • Model training — Client data, prompts, and outputs are used exclusively to enhance the quality and relevance of that client's own outputs. Client data is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve models serving other clients or for any general purpose, unless done with prior consent from the client.
  • Ephemeral processing — AI processing occurs in stateless environments created for each request and destroyed upon completion; no data persists in AI processing infrastructure.
  • No content logging — The content of prompts and AI-generated outputs is not logged or stored unless the client has explicitly enabled features requiring such storage.
  • Provider restrictions — All AI providers are contractually prohibited from using data received through their APIs for model training, benchmarking, or any purpose other than fulfilling the immediate request.

9. Client Data Handling

Client content data is processed solely for the purpose of providing the contracted platform services. Rawa does not access, use, or disclose client content data except as necessary to provide the service or as instructed by the client. Client content data is logically separated between clients within the platform.

Rawa does not sell, rent, or trade any data. Data is shared only with infrastructure providers and sub-processors necessary to deliver the service, where required by applicable law, or with the client as data controller.

10. Data Retention

The following retention periods apply to data processed through the Service:

  • Client content data: Duration of active subscription + 30 days
  • Platform account data: Duration of active account + 30 days after termination
  • Billing contact data: As required by applicable tax and financial regulations
  • Usage and analytics data: 12 months from collection
  • AI processing data (prompts/outputs): Not retained beyond the session unless the client opts in

Upon expiry of the retention period or upon client request, data is securely deleted using cryptographic erasure or secure overwrite procedures. Clients may request a deletion confirmation certificate.

11. Payment and Billing

Certain aspects of the Service may be provided for a fee. You agree to pay all fees associated with your use of the Service as described in our pricing page. Payment processing is handled by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified); Rawa does not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial instrument data. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rawa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful code transmitted through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in any content, or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content generated through the Service

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rawa AI Limited and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service, including but not limited to content you generate, any use of the Service's content other than as expressly authorized in these Terms, or your use of any information obtained from the Service.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to affected users and clients within 30 days of taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
